Thrifty Foods Cards- Anne Langdale (Nick Lepessis’s mom) is coordinating Thrifty Foods reloadable cards. Each time you re-load your Thrifty Food card a portion of the loaded amount is donated to the program. We are waiting to hear back from Thrifty’s.

Red Barn Market Gift Cards- Anne is coordinating this and will be doing one more order before Christmas. This can be done on-going as it is not a reloadable card program.

Poinsettia’s- Kim McCulley is the co-ordinator for this fundraiser. The order forms are out and will be due November 1st with a November 21st pickup at the school.

Hillside Shopping Night of Lights Tickets- Tickets to the Hillside Shopping Centre Fundraiser are $5 each and Claremont Lacrosse keeps 100% of the funds. The date for the event is November 17th. This is an easy sell as you do not have to attend to be entered to win one of the many awesome door prizes. Sell them as raffle tickets if someone is not able to attend. Simply return the ballot portion to Darren for my pick up and I will enter them on behalf of anyone who is not able to attend. I have these tickets now. Please just email me how many you want and send in $5 per ticket and I will send tickets home once a week. Tickets will be available up to the day of the event.

Meat and Sweet Tooth Fundraiser- this is a great fundraiser. We will have sausages, baby back ribs, perogies, chicken fingers (people rave about these), chicken breasts and hot wings. The sweets include desserts, pies, cookies and brownies. The order forms will go out for this fundraiser asap and will be due on November 21st with a December 11th pick up from the school. Players receive 65% credit for any sales towards their travel (not including airfare) (including hotel, transportation etc).

Clark Sheets- These are a very good quality sheet. A great gift idea. I know of a dance academy who is on their second order since September as people want to reorder. This can be a great fundraiser to help offset our bussing costs. When I just mentioned doing this 5 people gave me orders based on purchasing from other fundraisers. Orders need to be for Nov8th and Delivery will be Dec 13th.

Spartan Shoot Out Ads – The Spartan Shoot Out is the Annual Tournament that the Academy holds at Uvic and Topaz Parks and is highly attended by teams from the island, mainland and the U.S. We put together a program that is given to all attendees and we offer players the opportunity to sell ads in the program. The players receive 65% of the value of the ads towards their travel (not including airfare) including, hotel, transportation etc). This is the best way for families to raise funds towards their individual travel.

The Spartan Shoot Out is Nov 29th/30th. All ad art work and payment is due on November 20th.

Beer and Burger Night: We will host a beer and burger night in early spring. We ask that all families find one or two auction items to donate to the silent auction portion of the evening. I will send out information as soon as a date is set. Sometimes when selling program ads businesses will offer a donation of an item instead. Please accept this donation and I am happy to take it off your hands immediately.

Spring Basket Sales- Kim McCulley will be coordinating this fundraiser and it will take place in April/May

Spring Meat and Sweets Fundraiser- this will be a repeat of the fall fundraiser but may have different items depending on availability.
